Edge of the cube

A cube is a regular polyhedron, each face of which is a square. A special case of a parallelepiped and a prism. The cube has six faces and two bases. Opposite sides are always parallel to each other. The cube has 12 edges, three of them intersect at the vertex.The points of intersection of the edges are called vertices. Their number is eight.
